Ministries For You at Apostolic
Life
Children
of the King - Sunday
School classes for all ages are taught by caring teachers with a passion
for teaching children the love of Jesus. They produce skits for the
children, puppet shows, singing, and making the ageless stories of the
Bible come alive. A nursery is provided for the little ones while parents
enjoy the adult ministry of Pastor Chessor or Brother Roland Jordan.
Youth
Alive
-
The Youth group
minister to the congregation on the last Wednesday evening of each month
at 7:00 PM. They do community work for the elderly members of the
congregation; constructs a nice Christian-themed float for each annual Crestview Christmas parade; they enjoy monthly social gatherings; they are active in the
ministry of the church, helpful to pastor and members.
Single
Adult Ministry -
Single Adult Ministry meets once a month on the 3rd Thursday, for
fellowship at 7:00 PM, at the church or to be announced. Bible studies,
game nights, coffee nights, and special events throughout the year that
include meals and special speakers. Welcome to all single adults over age
30, focusing primarily on those in the 30-60 age group.
Singles Ministry team strives to be sensitive to the unique needs of all
singles–those who have never married, single parents, the divorced, and
the widowed. This ministry provides a support system which facilitates the
growth of the spiritual, mental, social, and emotional well-being of its
participants. They also seek to promote evangelism and outreach to single
adults in Crestview, Florida. In providing social activities in a
Christian environment for all singles, they offer singles the opportunity
for Christian fellowship.
Focus: Letting The Past Be The Past and then letting God renew and
stir up the ministry that He has given to each of us.
Senior
Adult Ministry -
involves all persons who are 60 years of age and older. It is an active
and vital part of the family.
Seasoned Seniors
is the name of our senior adult ministry. The name
symbolizes the seasoning that takes place over the years through our life
experiences and walk with God. Through the years, we have each experienced
some degree of success, failure, joy, sadness, gain, loss, health and
sickness in our lives. But through these experiences we have also
experienced God's grace, goodness and purpose in our lives that we can now
us to encourage others in the adventure called the "Christian Life." God
has an exciting future plan for every senior as we continue to grow,
serve, mentor, teach, and develop lasting relationships with each other.
Join our active seniors and experience how God is not bound by our
"lifetime" but continues to work with us right up until we enter His
timeless eternity.
There are many among us who are in need of special care, and others in the
group that are able and willing to provide that care. Care activities
include Hospital Visitation, Cheerful Chauffeurs, Secret Sisters,
Telephone Support, Home Visitation, Food Support, and mailings to the
homebound.
The Seasoned Senior Services of Apostolic Life Tabernacle are open to
everyone in the community. Visitors are welcome to attend monthly
gatherings on the first Friday of the month at 11:00 AM. Lunch is enjoyed
in the church fellowship hall, Apostolic Life Tabernacle, 3136 Pinewoods
Drive Crestview, Florida.

Reaching into the homes of a searching world, Bible studies are a proven
method of teaching God's Word and showing His love. Bible studies have

Men of Influence
-
The Men's
Ministry of Apostolic Life Tabernacle, desire to connect men to God, to
their families, and to church and community. Through special events and
activities specifically targeted to men, Apostolic Life increases the
opportunities for men to make these vital connections. From sessions with
special speakers to prayer meetings to times of fun activities, the men of
the church are provided with numerous avenues to join in fellowship and to
grow personally and spiritually.
Some of the activities include: Prayer breakfasts, which provide a time
for men of the church to bring their friends and co-workers
as well as to interact with one another and to combine fellowship with a
special time of prayer; Friday night prayer meetings at church; visiting
other church fellowships for men.
Women of Purpose

The Ladies
Ministry of Apostolic Life Tabernacle, desire to connect women to God, to
their families, and to church and community. The Ladies under the
leadership of Sister Chessor, enjoy Secret Sisters, Red Hat Society,
special fellowship gatherings, annual lock-in party with dinner at a nice
restaurant (Smokey Bones this year), generally looking after one another
on a personal and spiritual level. They minister to families in need, in
times of bereavement, sickness, weddings, baby showers, whatever the need
is at the moment. |
